Vocational Objectives
The EKG Technician will be able to recognize emergencies and alert physician who will determine the need for possible further invasive testing. The EKG technician will learn to prepare the patient for the exam by attaching the electrodes to the chest, arms and legs. He/She will learn to detect abnormalities or false readings in the electrocardiogram and to correct technical errors.




Training Objectives

In Physical Rehab Aide Program, the student will learn proper positioning, use of assistive devices and physical therapy exercises. Physical therapy aides work with physical therapists or restorative nurses in the health care facility. They work in public and private hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers and schools for physically challenged.

Pre-Requisites

     Students seeking admission to EKG
     TECHNICIAN Training Program:

      Complete an Application Form program
      Must have a high school diploma or
        its equivalent.
      Must have CPR certification and attend
        at least one of the following healthcare
        courses: Basic Nursing Assistant,
        Phlebotomy Technician.
